Time to go home

Well, after two months at our cottage in Quebec it is time to readjust to the work routine. Despite some concern with family members and their  health issues I can say that it was an enjoyable summer. A new wood stove and a faster and more powerful outboard motor added to the experience. And of course, spending time with family and friends gave added value to our summer experience. I will miss the steamy hot days, the warm nights, the late night swims, the freaky summer storms, the wonderful home-cooked meals, conversation over drinks late into the evening, hikes into the nearby bush, our side trips to Manawaki, Ottawa, Shawville and Renfrew and season 2 of Castle.
